A little girl dared to dream big.

She was in elementary school when her father was transferred to work in a foreign country, far from Japan.
The place she was going to call a new home was in a town that overlooked the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro.
It was during the time when the Labor system was not in place yet and the word ‘labor system’ was very foreign.

This little girl came back to Japan, now a grown up and ready to conquer the world.
She started a company which is now 20 years in operation.
The company supports the matching of human resources with opportunities and in doing so
plays an important role in shaping the future of human resources.

She hopes that one day the inequality in workers will come to an end.
She felt that this change should start with her, right where she was.
She would like to support the change with the best system for matching of diversified talents with opportunities in different companies.
It’s her dream to contribute to the development of the world through employment.

This is the dream of PORTERS co-founder, Ms. Tomomi Watanabe.
